Previews

Welcome to this month's previews section! Here, anyone making an OHR game who wants a little more exposure can advertise their games. Previews cover a wide range of games; works in progress, demos, or finished products. If you want a preview of your game to appear in the next issue, send the title, a couple of screenshots (.png format if possible), a description (a paragraph or two is fine) and a link to download if one exists to bobsurlaw@yahoo.com.

Halloween Quest 3, by Red Maverick Zero

This month, I'll keep the cycle going, and unveil two more new characters, a hero and a villian! (Click for larger images)

This is Axle. Some of you may remember him from his debut game, Axle RPG (my first ever OHR project), and I'm sure he's made loads of cameo appearances in my games over the years. He was in every Halloween Quest to some degree. This time, he's a main character. Not a hero, but an integral part of the story. Axle is a warrior from the Great War, and without him helping our heroes, they would have no idea where to go or how to do anything. But there is some mystery to Axle... there are things he hasn't told the heroes. Wonder what?

This is Dimitri. He's the first real boss you'll face in the game. When Axle sends you off with your first clue, this is the guy who's causing all the commotion over in the port town. He has a specific mission for his evil organization...
